Grilled Fish Tacos with Chipotle-Lime Dressing



1 lb Topline Foods mahi mahi filets

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tbsp distilled white vinegar

2 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 1/2 tsp honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp hot pepper sauce, or to taste


8 oz sour cream

1/2 cup chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, diced

2 tbsp lime juice

1/4 tsp cumin

1/4 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning


Diced tomatoes, cilantro, shredded cabbage, limes, onions, cheese, etc.

Don’t forget the tortillas :)


Marinade:  Whisk together olive oil, vinegar, lime juice, honey, garlic, cumin. chili powder, Old Bay black pepper and hot sauce.  Place fish in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the fish. (Or place fish in a big zip lock bag and pour in marinade.) Cover and refrigerate 6-8 hours.

Dressing:  combine sour cream, adobo sauce, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, and Old Bay seasoning.  Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Fish:  Preheat outdoor grill and lightly oil grate.  Remove fish from marinade and grill until fish flakes with a fork, about 5 minutes per side, depending on the size of the fish.

Cut fish into bite size pieces and place in center of tortillas with desired amounts of toppings and dressing.
