Grass Fed Organic Beef & Blue Cheese Burgers

Using organic grass fed beef in this recipe make the juiciest burgers ever!


Organic Grass Fed Beef & Blue Cheese Burgers

2 lbs. Topline Foods Organic Grass Fed Ground Beef

2 tablespoons steak sauce

4 large egg yolks

1 teaspoon kosher or sea salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

3 tablespoons cold unsalted butter

6 hamburger buns

6 ounces blue cheese (such as Danish Blue), for serving

arugula or lettuce, for serving

sliced tomatoes, for serving

In a large bowl, carefully mix the meat, steak sauce, egg yolks, salt and pepper with the tines of a fork (or your hands) but do not mash the mixture. Lightly form hamburger patties and press lightly into shape. Press a thin slice of butter into the top of each burger, making sure the meat entirely encases the butter.

Cook the hamburgers for 4 minutes on one side, turn and cook for 3 minutes on the other side for medium-rare. Remove to a plate and cover with aluminum foil. Let rest for 5 minutes. Assemble burgers and serve.
